Import DTS DSQ files to blender

I wonder if it is possible to write a Blender import script for the DTS file and DSQ files in order to get in Blender an animated character ?
By this way we can reuse the animated skeleton and replace ORC character by new ones. Or add new animation based on the current one and so on ...

You might want to check the modeling program shaper. it is the only program i know that imports DTS.

The format supported by Shaper in export are : 3d ascii, x, dts and dsq
Blender is not supported.
The tools provided to design seems rustic compare to blender
I wonder how this tools can support my use case .
Anyway thanks for your help , if there is no solution with Blender I will investigate more Shapper.
I hope that Joseph Greenwalt could give me some clues "on something that did exactly this" ...
