Under terrain, Inside DTS/DIF light enitys?

Currently with 1.52 if i have a light under the terrain, or inside the collision mesh of a DTS, or inside the wall of a DIF, it is being culled away.
Is there anyway i can change lights to not act in this way? At BEST i need lights under the terrain, that light the terrain over them. 1.52 is so much different then 1.42TLK that i have not any idea where to look for this...

Like i said above, i really need this for terrain. Quite a few of my missions have lights and volume lights that have the actual LIGHT under the terrain, it would be most unfortunate to rework my missions after the 1.52 upgrade..

I never got it to work for DTS or DIF, but i was able to place lights under the terrain in 1.42TLK. But it cant even seem to find where i did that when i compare 1.42 with 1.52 code... So in best hopes of a fast and simple solution, i ask here knowing the programmer of the light pack (hey John..) would probably know exactly where this is happening.. If i could offset the lights attachment point say 5 units on the "TAIL" side of the volume light, i would be ecstatically happy!

I truly need a hand with this; only for Volume lights Now, i reworked everything else. If i could offset the lights attachment point say 5 units on the "TAIL" side of the volume light, i would be ecstatically happy!

Hopefully John can cover some of the changes in accuracy and culling between versions.
