Any new modelers that want to help me?

If there are any people here new to modeling, that are still alright, and would like to help with a game, I want you! I'm still not the best programmer, but I want to make a game. I'm a bad modeler, so if anyone wants to help, that's good.
The game I want to make is going to be a stick figure game - I've always loved games that use stick figures, but they are all 2D, and I am going to make a 3D one. It will be called StickQuest, and I think it's going to be an RPG. But, like I said, I'm learning how to script/code/program (not sure what it's REALLY called...), so ya know... I think, once I can script/code/program better, I'll make a StickQuest 2: Empires.
So, if you want to help, you should at least be able to make some decent models, and know a bit about skeletal animation.

If I explain it now, I wouldn't get the satisfaction of all those groans and rolled eyes.

Using the stock torque models and free community models, you shouldn't have any trouble creating the code.

You don't need a modeler to learn how to program. If you think you have a great idea for a game, start making it. If the gameplay comes together, you can present that to the community and you will have a good shot at finding help.Using the stock torque models and free community models, you shouldn't have any trouble creating the code.

@ Jason: This makes no sense. A "stickman" FPS could not possibly be any harder than any other FPS - it just uses different models. And since you're being dumb and spamming this thread, don't plan on me reading your explanation later, because there is no point.

Ok, Peter, I'll do that.@ Jason: This makes no sense. A "stickman" FPS could not possibly be any harder than any other FPS - it just uses different models. And since you're being dumb and spamming this thread, don't plan on me reading your explanation later, because there is no point.

Back on topic.
I don't see a stick figure game being everly dificult. With models, it would actually be quite easy since it would be very close to bone systems anyway. I say go for it. I'd love to see it.

Just a bit of a note, Jason did not spam the thread. I guess in a perfectly polite world, he may have minorly trolled in your topic, but I don't think so. Perhaps six years of modding at GameFAQs and dealing with the Snowball fallout and the GameSpot acquisition has desensitized me a bit. Of course, I hope things don't get to the level of gamar fanb0i h8 that I used to see.Back on topic.

I can't remember which Sierra game it was (seems like a Leisure Suit Larry or Space Quest) that the main character stuffed a ladder then their pocket with a witty comment.

I may be interested in heling create a stick figure character. I'm in the midst of a racing game right now and a million other things but I use a character rig in Lightwave that works fine and I would mind swapping out my model for a simple stick figure. Can't imagine creating the model would be too hard...
Anyways... email me. patrickadesso -at- the gmail the gmail. uh uh the gmail. (Strongbad voice)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was Space Quest, as I remember the scene but was not allowed to install Leisure Suit Larry on my computer at that ripe of an age...I may be interested in heling create a stick figure character. Thanks Tom, I'm glad somebody thought about it. Making the models would be easy, but hitting them would be really difficult. If I had wanted to comment on making a stickman-themed FPS, my post would have said "making a stickman-FPS would be really hard". Perhaps I should have clarified it to say, "playing a stickman FPS would be really hard."
