SetSkinName for shapebase not working?

Everytime I try to use this my object is invisible. Any idea why?

Do you have to have a material set for it in advance?

I believe you have to create a material for the new skin.

Actually there is already a resource out there that restores the setSkinNAme function so it swaps materials. So I am good now, thanks.
