Wheeled vehicle contails - please help

Hi all, I've tried this in the advanced forum with no luck..
Has anyone ever got contrails working on a wheeled vehicle? I dunno, for exhaust fumes or something? We wan't to use them to replace the current system we have for our ships wake....I can see how they work on the warsparrow model etc., but try as I may, I can't get anything off a wheeled vehicle...
Has anyone ever seen a contrail off a wheeled vehicle?
