You need to make two shapes. One for the glass plane and one which includes shards of glass. You'd make a damageable staticshape which uses the shape of the pane and you'd give its explosion the shards of glass as the debris. I rhink you can tell the staticshape to not render on destroyed, otherwise simply make a damage sequence where the visibility is set to 0 on the last frame.
