I like to build a RPG Adventure Game.
My question is can i use the Adventure Kit to do this.
The tipe of RPG I want to make is something along the line of (Fall Out 2) and (StarFlight) mix to gather.
I want the player to travel in ship and buy and sell to build ther ships.
I all so want the player to travel to planits and land on them to find objects and interact with NPC on the planits thay land on.
If i buy the Adventure Kit is their a library of script on the private forum i can use to help me build my game.
Are the help file usefull and is the user bace friendly to newbe
I all so want to know if their is a forum that has user that are building games with this addon kit
I do have the TGB INDIE License that my brother got last year he is not useing it so I figer I try it out.
Seem he like the Game maker engine more.

I do think the kit is one of the mane pices I will need to build my project if I use TGB
I do understand that I will have to find a way to get the scripting done.
The plus is that I am a poser user and have 100 of poser model to build with so this kit I think will work out well for me.
The trix will be to find a user bace that can help me out with scripting or a project thats willing to tade work for work.
So i gise the nixe question is how big is the user bace in the privit forum for Adventure Kit and do you think it is worth the money to gain access to the forum For this tipe of help and info.
All so is thier a scripting kit that I can buy something along the line of cuting and pasting script wher i need it to do things like interact with NPC's and PC's.

If you are just looking for a conversation resource, I don't know of anything that is free (or for license for the TGB), but I'm sure there's something. I know for the TGE engine, there is the Yack Pack that could possibly be adapted to TGB, but it does require licensing of TGE, so may not be the best place to look.
Certainly the various RPG engines our there will have resources for this as well.

Certainly there are contents/resources that you can acquire that will bridge some of the technology gaps that you want, but bottom line, you will need (yourself or others working on your project project) a solid understanding of TGB to make your game happen. The short answer is that you won't be able to just buy kits to cover the components you need in order to pull your artwork together into a game. Even if every component of the game were available as a resource, someone needs to put them together, and that will still require a decent understanding of the engine, regardless of what engine you chose. If you are just looking for a conversation resource, I don't know of anything that is free (or for license for the TGB), but I'm sure there's something. RPG Maker XP, RPG Toolkit, Sphere, etc are "rpg engines" as that is the type of game that they are specifically honed to create.

Game Maker is not really a RPG engine, though you can make RPG's with it.RPG Maker XP, RPG Toolkit, Sphere, etc are "rpg engines" as that is the type of game that they are specifically honed to create.

I think the documentation for creating and using the artwork is worth the price alone, yet I don't know how to gauge that for someone else. You may already know how to do that, or parts of it, and have little to learn from it. If that were the case, you'd feel jilted. The documentation is well-written, but before you ever buy an add-on pack, you should have a good working knowledge of the engine you are adding on to. I would recommend going through all of the documentation and tutorials for TGB and getting very familiar with the engine. And then you will be able to make a more-appropriate purchasing decision.

You will have to create your own conversation and inventory scripts, as they are game-specific.
The help file is very helpful, and all of the interactions I've seen among the kit buyers have been friendly.
I do not know of any teams that are actively using the kit for their game, though there are a number of people who have learned from the kit and are using what they've learned.
What it gives you is a leg up in the art department. It shows you how to create game-ready art the simulates a 3/4 perspective with layer fading and such.
You will have to program all of the code to make your game happen. To make your ship, design your ship, interact with NPC's and PC's. All of that lies on your shoulders, with or without the kit.
