T2dTextObjects and "hideOverFlow

Hi,

Can anyone explain to me how/what the hideOverFlow parameter works for t2dTextObjects? In the documentation, it says:

"Whether or not text outside the object bounds should be hidden."

And I see that happening. My problem is that if I am creating a t2dTextObject from script (not from the editor), the object's lengths seems to only be the first letter or so. It cuts off the rest. I need my t2dTextObjects to collide with stuff, and the bounding boxes are always too short if created through script. I set hideOverFlow to true, then the Bounding Boxes are accurate at least, but then it cuts off the text. Anybody have this happen to them? Any suggestions?

Thanks!
