How do I unwatch a forum thread?

Maybe this is a stupid question but how do I unwatch a forum thread?

Open the thread you don't want to watch anymore and then just uncheck the box.

Hmmm... I tried that... it doesn't always work for me.

As silly as it may sound. Once you uncheck it make another post to it and post it to save the Unchecked Box. Let me know if that works.
