Creating chat rooms/channels in TGE

I want to create chat channels for TGE, I have been looking for two days the resources and have not fond anything but screen shots.

Does anyone know where to find a useful resource that I can use or how to expand the functionality of the current TGE chat?

The RTS Starter kit has a nice chat lobby.

You might want to look at TGELobby. It'd allow you to integrate IRC into your project pretty easily and give you a central lobby to chat in. Just type TGELobby into the search.
