Problem recording a demo movie

Hey Gang,
I was really hoping that this is a simple problem. Here's the deal:
I have Fraps 2.8.1 and I want to do an in-game recording of some cool effects. However, when I launch torqueDemo.exe, Fraps completely ignores it. I have remapped my video key to all sorts of things, but nothing will get Fraps to start recording. It's almost as though Fraps does not consider torqueDemo.exe as a game, and therefore will not capture any video. Have any of you had this issue?
Also of note, I am using Starter.fps as the base for our game, with the original key bindings. I launch torque, launch Fraps, enter a mission, and no matter what I map as the record start key, Fraps will not record. This is not a Fraps issue, however, because I can record in any other game (Madden, DDO, WoW, etc) without issues. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Brett

What version of Fraps are you using? Maybe that is my whole issue, because my version is about a year old

2.9.1, using F9 to start recording.

Well, I think I figured out the issue. Fraps simply won't work if I am in windowed mode. Once I changed Torque to fullscreen, it worked like a champ. Beats the heck out of me
