Dynamicly deformed terrain

Hi everyone, I was kinda of curious if it's possible to flatten, smooth, elevate or depress terrain during runtime? I know the world editor does this, but I wasn't sure if I could do this say if a plan dropped a bomb someplace and I wanted the terrain to depress a little (or maybe create a wave in the terrain with debra spawning?) I know I can spawn debrea with a particle emitter, but I wasn't sure about causing the terrain itself to have a 'wave' effect.
Thanks for any help you could offer!

Yes. I'm an enabler. I'm not proud of it, but there's no denying it.

Thanks Aaron, the specifics helped narrow it down a bit. I was wading through all of them and was getting a bit lost with all the different methods to achieve this with differing goals in mind. This one seems to hit the spot - just right.*ponder* ..does that make us co-dependant? ;)

Chris, I forgot about the Private forums, I'm not used to having that kind of a feature :P

Thanks, Aaron. I downloaded it and will take a look at it. I'm not very good with C++, but I think I can get this compiled. I'll be crossing my fingers!Chris, I forgot about the Private forums, I'm not used to having that kind of a feature :P
