Updated Quark tutorial/forums?

by Michael Layfield · in Torque Game Engine · 10/17/2007 (7:36 am) · 3 replies

I recently downloaded the latest version of Quark to create mirrors since Constructor does not support it yet. I tried so far to create a mirror but my map2dif_plus.exe keeps crashing and I don't know where and who to ask about this. Where can I find updated tutorials on how to create mirrors for torque in quark? And where can I find active forums for the use of quark for torque?

Constructor supports mirrors in TGE. I think TGEA needs a shader material applied to the texture, but am not sure.

Oh ok thanks. Just like to ask how do you make mirrors in constructor? I couldn't find any tutorials in the forums

Just like you do in other apps. Create a mirror entity and place it it in the face of the brush you want to make a mirror.
