Max 9 dts exporter crashing

Hi everybody!!

It seems that I'm having the general stability issues with the Max 9 exporter that a lot of people are having.

I have made some tests and it seems related to the density of the mesh you are trying to export. I have made the test with a simple box, by changing the number of tris setting the width, lenght and height tesselation. Same setup, same mesh, same everything, just changing the density. Above > 14000 tris it starts to crash.

Has anybody a fix/hack/solution?

Have you tried reducing the polygon count on you character. That worked for me.

I've had this problem constantly. I hear that the poly limit of the exporter is around 10k, which seems ridiculously low for modern games. imo, they really need to make a new, more stable version with a higher/no poly limit.
