Low Fps

Hi Guys, I'm backing now to work with Torque and I'm having some problems with the performance.
As you can see, the FPS are in 18, Is too bad...
Other thing is, when some characters colliding with others, the FPS down to 1-2...
My computer is: Athlon X2 4000 , ATI X1650 PRO 256 Mb (PCI - Express), 1 GB ram.
Ps.: In this Image, I'm using the Skeleton Pack... But, the problems what I'm talking about, happen with all of my projects in Torque (Including the starter.fps and starter.racing).
