Constructor and VMware

Ok, this is rather weird. I run vmware and usually have it running so never noticed this before. Note: Vmware is running its own computers for work.
What I have found is that if I do not have a vmware session running, operating Constructor is horrible. If I click on File and try to go to New, Open File, etcc, or if I click on Edit, Objects, Tools, Material, etc. the highlight hangs on the first opion(example New) and takes about 15 seconds to jump down to where my mouse is pointing. I can do a CTRL-O to open, and others just fine. If I start a vmware session, the problem goes instantly away.
Constructor is not installed in the sessions. Constructor is installed on the main computer. They just happen to be installed on the same computer together.
