Counter Strike and Joypads

Hey guys.

I've just received my N64 Controller To USB plug all the way from Hong Kong and, obviously, am itching to play counter strike with it (apart from anything else to really piss off the leet cs players), and can't get it to work!

It works in HL fine (it acts to windows just like a normal gamepad). Is there a CS thing for not letting you use joypads?

Cheers

Well if it works in HL should be fine... but you really should ask the CS team etc.
Because well, I don't believe that the TGE have any control etc on CS.

But it is odd that it doesn't work with CS, as I thought it would be very much the same...

Also wouldn't it be hard to look around with the N64 controller?

Does it change the keys to the D pad etc?

No, it actually acts just like a PC analog joypad to windows.

I got it working in CS! It's ace, just like goldeneye. Aiming is a bit off though. I just love the N64 controller.

And I was only posting here because this is the only forum I regularly post to.

One more thing I need to do: map my R button so it's like Goldeney's: temporarily switch from Joystick move to Joystick look.

what is wrong with you????
you just DON'T play FPS games with anything except mouse and keyboard... it's just not right =)

man, I can't wait to frag your brains out while you're aiming with the mini-joystick and i've already killed you =)

I'm not making out the N64 joypad plays it better, I'm just using it because it's more _fun_! I'm pretty bad at cs anyway, I can't get much worse ;)

I tried it with the online game I actually religiously play (T2) and I won't be using it with that!
