Hello, hello!
It's this time of the month again, where I notify all you people interested in competing, for fun, for experience, for some amazing prizes (yes, there are 2 prizes this time), or to enter the hall of fame!
This time, the theme is something that is rather different than the previous time ;): Sadness. The catch: The track MUST include piano in! No matter if the piano is soloed, or not, no matter if it's just 1 note, or an amazing soft ballade.
Sponsors:

Wallander Instruments are most generous and are offering to the 1st winner the full set of their instruments, costing 617$.
The full set includes:
French Horns 1-4: No mute, stopped, straight mute, dynamic stop (wah-wah).
Trumpets 1-3 in Bb: No mute, straight mute, cup mute, bucket mute, solotone mute, harmon mute/no stem, harmon mute/stem inserted (wah-wah), harmon mute/stem extended (wah-wah), plunger mute (wah-wah).
Tenor Trombones 1-3: No mute, straight mute, cup mute, bucket mute, harmon mute/no stem, harmon mute/stem inserted (wah-wah), harmon mute/stem extended (wah-wah), plunger mute (wah-wah).

Tsaiko drums, is the new, dedicated taiko drums library, creation of Sean Beeson (an interview to CGEmpire can be found here).
Please note that Tsaiko Drums comes for Kontakt2 Sampler only. So you need to have K2 to play the library (still I think that most of you must have it, no?;))

Quote:Wallander Instruments was funded to develop, market and sell the WIVI synthesizer, a Virtual Instrument that emulates acoustic instruments using traditional Additive Synthesis technology and advanced modelling of instrument behavior. Characteristic for WIVI is that the instruments are generated from recordings and measurements of real acoustic instruments.
The goals with WIVI are to create a highly efficient synthesizer with low computer footprints and loading time, realistic timbre changes, high customizability, intact phrasing intependently of MIDI input data and a user-friendly interface. The software is constantly under development, and functionality is added continuously.
