Animation Methods/Ways?

by Daniel Bennifer · in Torque Game Engine · 09/12/2007 (11:47 am) · 1 replies

Hi guys,
Basicly, I need to know what ways we can create are animations for use in the Torque Engine.
We have created the 3d models in 3ds studio max.

We need to use the Biped method right? (Create Biped, Animate Biped, Rig model to Biped, Export?)

Any advice on this would be great, Also, What other ways can we do are animations besides Biped?

Thanks.

Hi Flame

These are some of the best tuts
torque.smdlabs.com/media/freetutorials/maxdts/page1.htm

Watch all these vids and read em. It covers most of it. There are a few gotchas re: Torque, these should cover most anything.

Cheers

EDIT: You do not need to use Biped, you can use any bones, even linked meshes. But tri some test with biped first and when you get your exports right you can start fiddling with the other methods
