Streaming Audio Taunts?

This is something I have been thinking about as a possible feature in our game...but I wasn't sure of the feasibility of it...

With voice communication becoming somewhat noticable in games, I wonder if being able to create an audio taunt, and using audio stream technology (I guess like Real), could this be practical in games? I know this is something that could be abused, but if maybe kept at a low enough quality and size, I think this could work.

Also, have there been any games that have done somethig like this? I know TABBB is supposed to have video stream movies during the game (which is where I got the idea), but that is a bit different.

Thanks a lot!

Not sure I follow.... T2 supports voice directly as well as the ability to play pre-recorded voices (pick from a set). You are suggesting something different?

Sorry about that...I forgot to mention that part :)

What I mean is making your own taunts, a .WAV or .MP3 file, and basically using that as opposed to pre-recorded taunts...this would give players some unique taunts, just keep the fiel sizes down...

Thanks!
