Walk Angle?

This is probably a really easy question, and i just cant find the answer. Can someone tell me how to change the angle at which a player can walk? right now it seems like i can walk up extremely steep angles, like up to 80 degrees. I would like to set it so my player can not walk up an angle higher than the standard 45 degrees.
Thanks

It seems to me like you have a pirated copy of the platformer starter kit. I would strongly reccomend you buy it because it will entitle you do use the private forums. You will not be able to get help here.

Please read the documentation that came with your pirated copy of the Platformer Kit and go through all the tutorials. If you have questions specific to the kit, fork over the measly $30 and ask in the appropriate forums.

It continually amazes me how stupid some people think we are. Oh well..Please read the documentation that came with your pirated copy of the Platformer Kit and go through all the tutorials. If you have questions specific to the kit, fork over the measly $30 and ask in the appropriate forums.

In fact, I find it quite amazing how people on these forums find it easier to insult someone asking a question instead of helping them in the first place.

I wasnt going to respond on this forum. I have a legit copy of the platformer kit. In fact my boss is on the phone with Garage Games as we speak, partically to get us access to the starter kit forum. Please stop insulting me on a public forum when you don't know what you are talking about. In fact, I find it quite amazing how people on these forums find it easier to insult someone asking a question instead of helping them in the first place.

This account/ issue has come to my attention, and been delt with to our satisfaction. It was a simple misunderstanding our how our academic licenses work.

The truth is, we see stuff like this all the time. Someone posting in a public forum asking questions about a product that, according to their profile, they don't own a license to. I had no idea the academic licenses don't show up in profiles and the fact that you didn't have access to the Platformer Kit forums was obviously a mistake on the part of GG. For the record, nobody insulted you. I apologize for assuming that you had a pirated copy of the kit, but unfortunately all evidence pointed to that conclusion.

I also want to add that this community is generally very helpful, even if we can be a little defensive against people who seem to be pirating. I hope you don't take your experience in this thread as an indication of what to expect here.

You guys are pillars of the indie scene and without your enabling technology, we would be a lot worse off. I for one am grateful to have access to your technology.

Yeah, I imagine GarageGames' profits must be about as slim as they can get with such low prices on their excellent technology. There's no way you can get comparable tech anywhere else for such low prices. I can understand how it must feel to see it pirated. You guys are pillars of the indie scene and without your enabling technology, we would be a lot worse off. I for one am grateful to have access to your technology.
