Torque Script in TGEA vs. TGE

We're looking into trying out TGEA for a project at DePaul, and I wondered if there's much of a difference between Torque Script in TGE and TGEA.

The reason I ask is that we'd like to take advantage of the published documentation to help students get up to speed on the scripting language, and all the books are written for TGE.

    Scripting is pretty much the same: I would TGEA has its faults just as TGE does, but for the most part of it TGEA will give better performance and a nicer look to the game.
