TGE1.5.2 models in other formats?

by Derry Bryson · in Torque Game Engine · 08/23/2007 (3:04 pm) · 25 replies

Are the models that are included with TGE 1.5.2 SDK (such as the player, player.max) available in other formats besides max? i.e. something that can be imported into other 3D modeling programs?

Cubix Studios has a few inexpensive character content packs that work with Torque and include source files in several formats.

Regarding the Cubix Studio packs, they are very good. Clean models and skinning and damn cheap.

I agreed with Tim Heldna, they are very good, clean model and price is outstanding for the models.

Derry,
I would say find an artist to tackle this portion. If you can get someone on board that can create art for you or even modify the existing models (if they have max). Or save up and buy max. However, you could probably learn to create basic models with Blender in that time. Milkshape (like Fucifer said) is a good bet too.
