Help Please

I just started using TGE... and i dont have a clue on what im doin.... ive looked at alot of tutorials but alot of them skip just the basics. Does anyone know a way to learn the basics besides that PDF that comes with the engine and buying a book? Thanks for the help!

Where do i get codeweaver or torsion, the 2 programs the tutorial says i need?

You could get by with almost any other text or code editor, although the debugging and syntax highlighting options available will vary.

You can get Torsion from this page of the GG site. I'm not sure what happened to Codeweaver, but the developer's site has been down for a while.You could get by with almost any other text or code editor, although the debugging and syntax highlighting options available will vary.

I've used Crimson Editor, ConTEXT and Jens' File Editor in Windows 98 in the past, but I'm not sure how well they run in XP. As far as I can tell from their sites, ConTEXT is the most recently updated.
