TGEA Laptop/Graphics Recommendations?

After fighting with my laptop the past two years it's finally time to bite the bullet and get a new one.
But I don't want to get stuck confronting a laptop maker when they say that not being able to adequately run TGEA is not an acceptable reason to return the purchase :-)
So in that light, anyone have any particular recommendations (based on actual use of the units , not theoretical compatibility with TGEA) on laptops with high end graphics that run TGEA especially well (or even ones to make sure to avoid)?

I'm getting the dell inspirong 17" you can get it with a 1920x1200 HD display for only $149 more. and it has a Nvidia 8600 GT. I priced one out and it came in for about $2,799 with everything you could think of including a sprint wirless broadband built in!and you can't beat Dell service!

I've used it on my XPS and on a IBM T60P, with good results. (If you're in for a bargain, I'm selling the XPS - if you're interested, send me a note).

I've used my Compal Hel8X (known under different names in different countries), with Core 2 Duo and 7600go. Right now they are upgraded to 8600M so definitely more than enough.15" notebook, 1680x1050 resolution

Definitely stay away from integrated video, and if you can get XP with an option to go to Vista at a later time, that might help resolve any generational driver issues for you.
