I just recently made a new .map file in WC 3.3 and tried to convert it to .dif format. The error message I got was

Successfully opened map file: c:\maps\constructionsite.map Parsing mapfile...Error processing entity on or near line: c:\maps\constructio nsite.map: 1839Error parsing map file: c:\maps\constructionsite.mapThe tricky thing is... I never placed any entities in the .map file. But it says I have an entity that's causing the problem. Can anybody help me with this please? Am I going to have to completely rebuild (god, I hope not). Thanxs in advance...

Anyway, do an error check inside worldcraft also. Mine refused to spit out the dif, found out it was some error in a few polys when checking the error report, then it worked...
Otherwise, just redo the whole bloody thing. When I was doing tracks for my town test in WIE, the file compiled, no errors, got it into the game, started light rendering... CRASH!. Repeat the progress with the same result... And nothing fancy, some 200 polys for a long stretch of train tracks. Even removed alot of things, still crashed.

It doesnt have to be an entity just because he says it... Never trust a computer. Never trust a crashing computer. Never trust a computer that SAY it has crashed :DAnyway, do an error check inside worldcraft also.
