Constructor 3 Crash

My excitement turned to utter disappointment once again with Constructor. Such great potential in this program, but I forsee myself continuing to waste my time with a program that never seems to get it right.
This time I can't export a file that I was able to export in 1.0.2. It crashes when "exporting geometry." Great times. I have many DTS files in the scene as well... did something get even more broken with that? Or is it something else? Maybe the "features" that set Constructor appart from others shouldn't be released at all until they work? I was excited to see if the DTS bug of not occluding them within the DIF in engine was fixed, as well as the portal problems. But since I can't even export at all, I guess I will never know. I would love to help troubleshoot this, but I don't have time... that is what the QA department is for.

Thank you for your advise. I will check and see if that works to take out the portals, resave, and re-re-export. I'm 99% sure that one of the previously saved versions that I tested did not yet have portals in though ... so I will have to double-check that. Thanks.

I used to work QA at a game company ... and these kinds of things that seem so obvious to test somehow blow my mind that they could slip through. Sure, there are going to be deeper bugs, but these kinds of things, like portals (that have never worked correctly) and collision, are unacceptable.Thank you for your advise. By the way, Jorgen... another post mentions that if you save and close out your scene, then open and export, the collision works again. I believe this was a previous bug too.

I tried this the first time I installed 1.0.3 but had great problems loading said file again. It seemed as even the simplest geometry would crash the app as soon as it began loading so I installed 1.0.2 instead.
Tonight I re-downloaded 1.0.3 and installed (uninstalled 1.0.2 as I did last time) and tried again.
A simple box with a wall in the middle and only one hole with a thin portal that extended beyond the open hole in the box.
Exported to DIF, no collision.
Saved, closed the app, started it again, loaded the file.
To my surprise it worked.
I exported to DIF and tested it. Collision seemed to work.
Here is where the funkiness begin:
I add a point light and after export i can "run" trough the wall closest to the light. Sometimes when I enter the box, the floor has no collision.
I don't know but, someting isn't right.

The passable wall next to the light is now solid but you still get stuck in the floor ....

The updates seem to be adding bugs not fixing them?

Now I have the same damn issue with walls though. No matter what I do (including re-creating in the floor case, haven't tried with walls yet), the walls have partial collision. When I first walk up to them, the somewhat block me as I try to walk through a doorway in the front of the box truck. But then I'm able to walk through them and eventually I'm also falling through the floor again.
GG ... are you listening to these problems? I feel like reporting these bugs goes completely unanswered.

Yeah, Constructor is still hosed. Imagine that. I had a floor of a box truck split into two sections (for texture reasons), and one side would allow my player to fall through it every time, no matter what I tried or if I closed the app and opened and re-exported. So, I modified my geometry to make the floor one brush. Collision was fine. Now I have the same damn issue with walls though. If you can send me a *very* simple example it will greatly help me track down the problem.

Thanks Matt, I will send something over to you. I'll send you the "box" of the truck only.

And while exporting unsaved DIFs with portals works it disables collision in-game.
Unfortunate bug to slips trough QA imho.
