Native real-time networking?

I didn't see any recent suggestions for an updated network system so here it is. Real-time networking would be a great thing to have without having to hack TGB, although adding new features like that would probably cut out the need to purchase a PRO license i guess...

Actually, the integration of real-time networking would most likely necessitate a pro license because each game that used it would need to tweak the actual source to hone the network to the type of game that was being developed. The requirements between say, an online shooter and a 2D MMO are vastly different networking scenarios that are handled quite differently. Even now, Tom's resource works well for what it does, but would need some major honing to work with the variety of game types that people throw around in the game ideas forum.
