Currently working towards an improved first person shooter startup kit,

The aim is to implement the first steps of any first person shooter and make this into a resource for people to get up to speed quickly with 1.5.2.

Achieved so far:
adapted first person shooter to include ....

* a reasonable start / loading screen/ gui,
* extra weapon, with basic reload and clip gui,
* static shooting ai enemies
* extra player character "the yellow man".

example game codenamed "plaguelands" atm :

Objective: to create a stunning examplar fps demo

Example will be a survival horror fps with influences from Van Helsing and Underworld. Emphasis will be on quality of models and overall look rather than quantity of levels.

Van helsing meets underworld meets doom meets kill bill meets aliens.

Simple gameplay shoot the bad guys, zombies and other undead enemies.

Its aimed to be an extension to the fps starter kit and a bit of light relief from mmrpgs like wow.

Currently at a very early stage of development

looking for anyone who would like to help, not offering money but I am offering a credit on the credits page for anyone making worthwhile content.

Particularly could use help with ...

* simple effective scripts.
* monster models and animations
* hero models and animations
* creepy but not wearing music
* melee combat system and chainsaw model.
