Constructor issue

Hello

Been teaching myself how to use Constructor all day. Being an old 3ds Max user, I think Contructor is a very good, easy and powerful tool for making interior.

But this latest model I exported to DIF, behaves strange in Torque (1.5.2). It has something to do with subtracting brushes from each other. I get tiny tiny gaps between the walls, when looking at it in Torque. In Constructor it looks perfect.

Maybe this picture will clarify -> http://www.kjak.fo/feilurtorque.bmp

It is very obvious in Torque. When looking around, the white dots fly across the intersections.

Anyone know how to avoid this? Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Thanks

Edit: actually, I do see the same thing in Constructor. Just isn't as obvious.

Would still like to know why this happens/how to avoid, as I believe I am doing everything by the book.

Done some more testing. It seems that when doing a subtract (e.g. a simple doorway in a big room), the resulting brushes sometimes get this "tiny gap" ... sometimes not.

I tried tinkering with the settings, but I can't make it go away. :|

What a shame, because apart from this problem, Constructor is IMHO far superior to Quark and Hammer. Big time!

Ok, I was using "File->Export As DIF...". If using "File->Export->Torque Game Engine (map2dif plus)" instead, it produces much better results!

If anyone else is in similar situation, here is a good read on DIF exporters: http://www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.thread.php?qt=60986
