Mythic Action Game

Hi.
My name is Barry Gallagher and my team and I are looking for c++ programmers, 3d artists, an animator and voice actors.





Project name:
ERIU
Brief description:
It is a game based on Irish Celtic mythology. It will be 3d action. It has been designed to have a quick turn around as we are putting our main focus on having atleast a piece of a spit and polished level at the end of this. We are aiming to make a playable intro at the moment. Narrative movies will be a big part of this game.
Target aim:
The main aim of this game is to enter into game competitions. We are intending entering igf which means we have clear goals to reach.
Compensation:
There is the possibility of some prize money from the competition but overall this is an exercise in exposure. Obviously if that miracle publisher deal comes around there will be more money but I think any of us with experience know not to hold our breath. Thats why we are aiming for 3 levels at the moment.
Technology:
Torque Game Engine Advanced (TGEA) which includes normal maps and most of the latest shaders for you potential artists.
Talent needed:
3d artist - Good modelling skills, unwrap and texture.
Animator - We need a decent animator specifically, we have riggers already.
c++ programmers - Mainly gameplay mechanics but some graphics tweaks.
Voice actors - The game will be narrated at stages, we need someone to narrate preferably with a voice with some wisdom/gravel to it.

I might be able to, but I need to pick up a decent input device. My headset no longer works properly - plus they are horrible for voice dictation (I used to put books onto tape). One needs a lot of patience to prevent "breathiness" and to avoid pops from moving too much with a headset. I'm considering a serious investment, but still undecided at the moment.
