Content pack houses

by ATW · in Constructor · 07/24/2007 (8:52 pm) · 4 replies

So I have been working in constructor for quit some time now and was looking to make some houses and maybe go so far as to make some buildings for cities..

my Questions are.....

1. Would this sale.
2. With the state that constructor is in right now would it sale.
3. Do you have to be a SDK owner to make a Content Pack in Constructor?
4. I would think that building the interiors of houses would not be smart do to the fact that is more game specific or am I wrong?

I'd lean towards included interiors... but that's just my 2 cents.

Yep If you dont do Interiors then You could do it in DTS with more details. So definately include interiors.
If its a Medieval House Pack it will sell like hot buns! :D

In response to # 4's "game specific" concern:

It's only game specific if you fill out the full look-n-feel of each room/space. But having a pre-designed, well defined empty interiors will go a long way to boosting the answer to both # 1 and # 2...and Thak's hot bun comment. :)

That's one of the reasons that I bought Tim Aste's Castle Pack. It didn't have tables and chairs filling the spaces but it did have a lot of empty rooms. This leaves the game specific look-n-feel to the designer.

So slap some shingles on that lean-to and call it a pack!
