Do lights created in Constructor work in Torque?

I created a light point entity in constructor. When I brought the csx file into torque 1.5.2 the light did not work and seems to be interpreted as a null object by the game engine. Reading the few posts that refer to lights created in constructor I get the impression that this aspect of constructor in not functional. Can some tell me definitively if this is true?

The Constructor lights should bake lighting into the interior's light maps, but loading the interior will not create mission lights in the editor, these have to be created by hand.
