Quark Memory Allocation Error

I have recently created a .dif file with quite a few poly's and when I tried to export it, Quark stated that there was an error allocating memory. How can I extend Quark's memory?

Thank you for your help, David. I am taking your advice and will let you know how it turns out. I am new to Quark but I have used Torque in the past, (The Trial Demo). I am by no means an expert or authority on either one, but I am learning quickly and I will be glad to help anyone, any way I can. Just send your message to my E-mail.

You should just use Constructor.

But I already have Quark running pretty well. It just recently began to give me the error message. I do have maybe 10 .dif files in the tmpQuArk directory though. Is it that, too many files saved takes up memory space? And if so, should I be able to move those files to another directory to free up QuArk memory?

How many apps are open at the same time?
How many files are listed in the main QuArk listing?

William, aren't you running low on disk space? That could be a Windows virtual memory problem? How many apps are open at the same time?
How many files are listed in the main QuArk listing?

c:/Torque/Quark files/QuArk 6.5.0 Beta 2.0
Now, depending on which one is correct...
1. Add-ons / Torque / All of the default Games / My chosen add-ons and all of my Textures directories.
2. plugins / All of the default .py files and etc... / map2dif_DEBUG.exe / tmpQuArk
Then in the tmpQuArk directory :
All of my chosen add-ons, My textures directories, maps and textures directories from QuArk.
The maps directory currently holds 5 .map files in the works.
The textures directory currently holds 3 texture projects and 7 recently added textures from the last .dif I attempted to create.
I have also placed the completed .dif projects and my entire textures directory in tutorial.base and my GAMEONE directories. They are placed where they need to be within the locations. I also have them placed in a folder I created called "Quark files", which is located in Torque itself. I do have a large number of textures in "My textures". and I spread them around to a few various locations. I was trying to limit the number of directories for them, thus I deleted quite a bit of dead weight. I believe I have narrowed it down to only the essential structure. I have yet to test that theory until I can get past the memory issue. I hope my explaination of my system isn' t too confusing to whom it may concern. I glady accept any feedback on this problem.

I only run QuArk when I'm creating. No other programs are active at that time. I realize the memory is delicate and I try not to overload it. Unfortunately, I got excited about finally getting some .dif action going that I neglected to watch the amount of objects I was creating. I got quiet a few good files out of it, but now it is claiming to have no more memory. I have deleted a great number of files and folders, I have run my scandisk, emptied my recycle bin, defragmented the hard drive, changed the vitual memory settings, and it still has the same message. I have even changed the memory settings inside QuArk's configuration dialog. I am at a loss for explainations. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? My system configuration is as follows:c:/Torque/Quark files/QuArk 6.5.0 Beta 2.0

Eventually, try to re-install QuArk.
Another thing you could try to do: check if there is a abnormally large file in QuArk's folder
Post your problem at QuArk' mainpage forum...

Maybe it is related to the number of prefabs you are listing...Eventually, try to re-install QuArk.
