TGEA v1.01 Official DirectX Version

Ok, I know this has been asked over and over again throughout the forums. However, there is confusion with what Microsoft DirectX version is supported for TGEA v1.01.

The documentation for TGEA still reads "October 2006" for the DirectX SDK. But other comments in the forum suggest that it's actually "April 2007" for the DirectX SDK. Even GG staff has recommended "April 2007" DirectX SDK.

I've tested both "April 2007" and the latest one, "June 2007" and they do work, however, I did find a problem.

You can't create Atlas terrain if you're using anything past "October 2006" DirectX SDK. It will error out near the end when it's importing your images. I read a couple messages where a person was getting Atlas errors but it had everything to do with the DirectX SDK and not Atlas (and not an Atlas bug, or their Atlas settings when making terrain).

I'm also bringing this up because perhaps this is a bug in Atlas that GG doesn't know about. Or, perhaps they do. But it doesn't hurt to bring it up.

So I guess what we need is something official from GG. Since it's in the TGEA documentation, I guess we should go with "October 2006" version of DirectX SDK regardless of what they say in the forums?

Well right now I have "June 2007" DirectX SDK installed and it's working for everything, including Atlas.
