I didn't see any instructions where the Super PNG goes.
I have Photoshop CS1 and Photoshop CS3.
Does it work with CS3.

I figured it went into the plugins folder, but when I open the plugins folder there are a bunch of other folders which one does it go in.

Now, the instructions may not be included in the actual download file, but I know they are included (possibly available on the site)

Morrie, SuperPNG comes with instructions on how to install it, as well as how to remove the default Photoshop PNG Plugin -- check your download again, instructions are included -- if your download does not include them, then you possibly have a corrupt or fake download -- the official SuperPNG download -does- in fact include instructions. Now, the instructions may not be included in the actual download file, but I know they are included (possibly available on the site)

Amazing what Google will find for you
Just downloaded it from the official site, which is where I directed you to go with my original post --
The official download contains a "SuperPNG notes.txt" with full instructions, and other details.

What you want is the OLD superpng plugin, NOT the new one offered on their site. (the new plugin doesn't do much different than the regular photoshop plugin, it makes slightly smaller PNG files but it saves alpha the exact same way as the photoshop plugin).
The one from the artists page here on the GG site is the one you want. Installing it is simple enough.
Locate Png.8bi (it's in \Plug-Ins\Adobe Photoshop Only\File Formats if I remember correctly). Move that file away from the photoshop folder (renaming it to something other than *.8bi should work too). Then just copy SuperPNG.8bi into the same folder and start up photoshop.

DO NOT(!), I repeat, DO NOT get the plugin from the official SuperPNG site. What you want is the OLD superpng plugin, NOT the new one offered on their site. I understood that I figured there was a catch if you used it.
