Let me just make sure I have this right
I pay $100 to download this software, obviously.
I am guessing (correct me if im wrong) that:
- It is mine to use as much as i like
- I can make as many games as i like
- I can publish these games on my website, charge customers to download them
- Garagegames have no rights to interfere with my games
Sorry if it turns out im being stupid but i just wanted to make sure i was right.
Thanks, bye

That's it in a nutshell. pretty much the only thing you can't do is share or distribute the C++ source code to the engine to anyone who doesn't also own a license to it. you can share script with whomever you like, however.

Oh, i think you also need to include the GarageGames logo in a splash screen of your games.

If your Company Sales over $250,000 you are required to buy the commerical license.

Yeah.. you need a splash screen for the indie license. I think you don't if you buy the commercial license. If your Company Sales over $250,000 you are required to buy the commerical license.

Free bit of advice: The engine source code and the script files are two different things. They work together to make the games work but they are separate. Think of it like JavaScript and a browser. JavaScript makes "calls" to C++ functions inside the browser to create a button in a page.

I strongly recommend you invest in one of the Torque books to help you understand how to work with the engine.Free bit of advice: The engine source code and the script files are two different things.
