if i make a game using the v12 engine and it gets published could i also port it to other platforms, ala psx2, xbox and gamecube?
i dont quit understand if i make a game and it gets published by garagegames will it be out in stores if it gets good reviews? also who decides on how much the game will be sold for?

If your title makes it to the store shelves the publisher whoever that ends up being (Sierra, Sony, Microsoft, EA, etc) will set the price. For electronic distribution on GarageGames you will basically be able to set your own price. We may provide some guidelines/suggestions but ultimately it is up to you.

so GG only gets to sell the game online? and another company can sell it in retail?

I am interested in this.... If GG is already selling your game and you got offers from other sellers, maybe some retail, or for video game consoles, what would GG do? I take it they would be in control (and you'd still probably have to pay GG a % of the profit).

What if you got an offer from another site like GarageGames, could they sell it?(of course giving some profit to GG, I'd be really mad if another site couldn't sell it, but I think GG would allow it because it increases sales, and anything that increases our sales increases their wallet size)

GG only directly sells online. Should it come to retail, GG is you're representation at contract negotiations.

If it's good enough to go retail, Sierra has to have "first refusal". Meaning, you have to offer it to Sierra first, and if they don't want it you can offer it to anyone you want. (I just hope you don't have to include those godawful Sierra Utilites...) And since GG is your contract negotiator, they handle all royalty negotiations too.

I highly doubt it. It's spelled out pretty plainly that GG has exclusive rights to selling your game online for 5 years. Your game can be hyped all over the web, but if there's a "Buy this game" link, it has to point to GG's store. (It's easier that way really, no quibbling over how much was made and how much royalties are)

Oddly enough, all this was in the FAQ, and Plain English License Agreement. Perhaps a little studying? ;)
