Direct X 9 help

by Xmadole · in General Discussion · 06/24/2007 (12:31 am) · 12 replies

I just downloaded the runtime, went to the setup, "I agree", "Next", "Finished".

Still can't open TGEA demo and DX9 won't install.

Download the April 2007 SDK. You will need it for VC 2005 anyways.

I've found out it's installed, just my graphics card doesn't support Pixel Shader 1.1, does it?

Your chipset does support Pixel Shading v2.0 but it does not support other things which might be the issue (such as hardware Vertex Shading)

If those things are not issues, do you have the latest driver for your graphics card?

See wikipedia for a break down of cards.

Google is your friend...

Typed in "Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family drivers"

Got back...

So you're saying it still doesn't work? So you've installed Directx SDK April 2007 as well?

You will also need the DirectX9 Runtime.
