Front Room Games is looking for a Torque Engine Developer for War In Europe, a team-based game set during World War 2.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in the WW2 period, which will be reflected in their enthusiasm and work.
This is a voluntary position, with all work done during free time at the candidate's discretion.
The candidate will develop core engine enhancements for the game using C++, and as such must already own a license for the Torque engine. This project has no budget so all expenses (such as licenses) come from team members own pockets.
The candidate will be expected to act as a mentor to junior C++ developers on the project, giving assistance and work instructions when required.
War In Europe is currently in its design stage, so the candidate would be expected to contribute to the overall design. By bringing their knowledge of the Torque engine to the table, the candidate will be able to help the team realize the features we wish to implement.
In addition, knowledge of the Torque scripting language is most welcome.
