GG has a strict policy about swearing on the forums, If you keep swearing they will remove you account from this site. GG does not tolerate this kind of behavior.

But Matan's the oldest of all of us.

What would that have to do with how mature everyone's behavior is? Seriously, we may not use these forums anymore but many others do before coming to our new ones. And they find this here... it's going to scare people away. I know I wouldn't have joined the forums had this topic been around when I was thinking of joining, and it's a really dumb way to try and get rid of Lukie anyway.

Actually, the older someone is, the more I would expect them to be capable of exhibiting mature behavior. I think you make a valid point, Lonestar. I follow the advice of "Take what you like & leave the rest." when visiting forums & participating in chats. In other words, if someone's posts bother me, I simply ignore them & pay attention only to what I wanted to glean from the forum. Giving attention to bothersome posts generally only results in encouraging the undesired behavior. Ignoring the bothersome poster is usually the most effective means of silencing their antics. Just a little bit of wisdom from someone who is likely older than everyone here...

The blatant disregard for common decency and respecting others in this thread is disappointing, to say the least.

Matan: you've been a long time member of this forum, and while it's not actively moderated, the very fact that you abused that situation by your blatant disregard for others is a severe let down, given your past history as a forum leader. It may not mean much, but you've disappointed me personally, and I would suggest that you consider what your abuse of this community's freedoms implies about yourself.

Homar: I have no personal recollection of you on these forums, but the same applies to you as well.

Both of your actions will be dealt with with full prejudice.

To those that egged these two on but did not actively demonstrate vulgarity, you should be ashamed as well.

@Everyone else: I'm pleased that you attempted to persuade the two posters from continuing in this show of disrespect and immaturity, and I apologize to everyone that was offended by their actions.
