Model problem? blender vert. problem

I have had this problem with many of the fence models i have tryed to make. i have made close to 10 different fences and all of them have this problem. the problem is that in torque all of the verts. are streched in a seemingly random jumble. i have tryed many things to fix the problem but i have been stumped. can anyone help?
