I'm quite new to Torque but loving it!!! I have TGE 1.5 and I am wondering if there is a way of loading a level made with Maya ( or any other modellling program) into the engine and at the same time getting ridof the inbuilt terian that comes with torque.
Thanks
Thanks

What David mentioned is what's suggested and the most feasible thing to do, but if youre so inclined you could just build your level in maya and define a few groups to be used for collision.

EDIT:
But like with Todd Picken's FPS environment, you can create several models and adjust their LOD to create stunning arrays of environments.

Definitely. It depends on how complex your geometry is. One big thing to be aware of is that if you create a huge DTS level, it will not be zoned or portaled. Which is one of the problems with using polysoup apps for large levels.EDIT:

I would strongly recommend using Constructor to create your level geometry and Maya to create DTS details. If you are used to using Maya, you will have to completely rethink your modeling strategy to create valid geometry for level files.
