First of all, if I don't make too much sense, it's because I'm a programmer, not a modeler.
Anyway, I am currently using .x files because I'm using Direct3D and I'm too lazy to make my own file type. Microsoft's X Exporter didn't work at ALL, so I decided to go the route of exporting as a .3ds and converting to .x using conv3ds. Well, this works, but I have an actual bone mesh that is animated and the player mesh just sitting over it with no animation. How can I somehow merge the bones and player mesh or set the animation to be on the mesh so that I can get rid of the bones entirely? Sorry again if I don't know what I'm talking about but my modeler is playing Counter-Strike, lol.
