Fallout 3 Teaser Trailer Today

Well as many of you may know, I am a big fan of the Fallout series, which actually seems like bit of a cliche these days. I like most Fallout fans who enjoyed the original games are a bit wary as Fallout is a different style of role-playing game than Oblivion. But Bethesda will be releasing a teaser trailer for the game today at their website. fallout.bethsoft.com.

Fallout 1 and 2 were developed by Black Isle Studios, a division of Interplay, and released in 1997 and 1998 respectively. Fallout 3 was in development at Interplay around 2001-2003 as atitle called Van Buren (top secret Black Isle title). With the demise of Interplay, Van Buren was cancelled and Interplay sold the Fallout license to Bethesda who had previously created Morrowind and Oblivion.

Hopefully Bethesda has done it right :)

And a teaser at that, it gave no details about even what genre the game will be!

@Stave

Bah, yea it certainly didn't. I have to say that I am disappointed by it. If Bethesda had cared to read their forums for the past 2-3 months they would have realized that the fans are hesitant and they're hesitant because they have no idea what Bethesda is brewing up in terms of gameplay that relates to the Fallout franchise.

From the trailer, all we can figure is that the game takes place inside of a bus and has a guy with power armor ? :)
