Display not showing

by Ryan Zec · in Torque Game Engine Advanced · 06/01/2007 (6:54 pm) · 5 replies

I was trying to run the demo and the display is just all pink. I had a FX5800 128MB video card and thought that might be the problem so I went out a bought a FX7600 GS 512MB Video card as that is a pretty good card for AGP. the display is still in all pink? Why? I mean it can't still be my video card becaus eif I need something better than this I would not want to develop with the Torque Game Engine Advance.

I too am having this issue and am running a decent card. I did notice that in the minimum specs it said Pentium and I am running an AMD processor. What are you running? This could be the issue, maybe it's not compatable with AMD processors. Made a support ticket so should find out soon hopefully.

Have you installed the latest directx runtime?

Just to squash any further doubt, this has NOTHING to do with AMD processors. I run TGEA on a dual core AMD and have no problems...
