How hard would it be to make the engine support tinting the hair, skin, and eye colors of something like this? they are nice models and ultimately more customization would be cool.

What would have been nice would have been to have had these as unclothed or with undergarments and simple be able to add the armor and similar items to the model as an object. I don't know how easy that is to do yet.

Deva i am strongly considering releasing an additional pack to go with this, with the models as you require. Regarding tinting the colours, you can always use vertex colours to add a tint to the models - you would simply load the models into a program like ultimate unwrap, which has a torque importer and exporter, varying the vertice colour of the material and re exportingthanks

This is good work. I forsee a pack such as this being great for those trying to make an RPG or a fantasy FPS or anything of that nature. Also good for those wanting to make an RTS with elven units, or those speaking of fantasy themed MMOs. For RPGs and MMOs being able to customize the appearance of the model becomes important. I am hoping to see people release such packs with the clothes completely decoupled from the model. Then allow them to be added on. Adding different heads, faces, hair colors, etc. were the next goal. I understand you are indicating that I can tint features externally and bring the other tints into the game. My actual desire would be able to make the tints dynamic and chooseable in game. I realize that this will likely require some changes to the code base on my side. I did want to say that I like your work. My weakness is the art side so, I do appreciate good art when I see it.
I do have a passing question for you (remember I am no artist only a coder). How well do your packs sell? Is there actually a market worth tapping for making things for other people to use with Torque? Tools, art, scripts, etc?
Thanks

Best of luck to you and I hope to see more packs from you. Then when I have money burning a hole in my pocket and I am in need of something I'll probably go nuts and buy a couple things. ;)

Price is higher now too. You said $42 above. It is $89 on the site. Of course you have the right to charge whatever you like and if you make it possible to add and remove clothing styles, etc. it will certainly be worth it. I just pointed it out in case it was an oversight. I am not in a position where I need elves YET. :) Maybe in the future. I'm going in the sci-fi direction myself at the moment though I have worked on some Pro projects where the type of art assets you are offering are what we were looking for.Best of luck to you and I hope to see more packs from you. Then when I have money burning a hole in my pocket and I am in need of something I'll probably go nuts and buy a couple things. ;)

Since I'm doing yet another men in tights thing... the elves interest me. Is there any plan to have them available as naked and dressable?
My second question is more general. I see your models are available in multiple formats. Must you purchase each format seperately?
Edit: FYI the Dungeon pack on the main product page has a broken link.
