Not sure if any of you are aware of what accliam is doing, they are giving away a development team to who ever contributes/shines the most in this project. A few of us have put together a small talented team but I hope to get more people from this great comminity that may be interested in doing this with us. I put together a site for our team if any of you want to check it out it is massdev.net
You can read about the project here: topsecret.acclaim.com
I've been pushing GG's TGEA as a possible dev tool for the project and I think if enough of us get over their we can get them to use it instead of the very limited in house system they are talking about using...
Anyways check it out, it's a chance at a free development team if nothing else.

They haven't started doing any of the game world design everything is still in concept stages and they have talked about switching engines to support the change in concept already.

Of course, this is just my speculation. :) Will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Typing it on a webpage is one thing, carrying it out is another. If you think that they will take such a huge risk in letting some random guy who "wins" do away with their so called funds, then I'm afraid you'll get disappointed.Of course, this is just my speculation. :) Will be interesting to see how it turns out.

I think you've misunderstood, this is a community development project and it's up to the community how this project is developed. You would have to read up on the forums to understand. This project has nothing to do with the winner.
@ajari,
Yes, they were recently acquired by a new owner and have reentered the game market on a larger scale. They now make free MMO's that are funded by in game stores similar to the 8th most plaid game in the world "Silkroad Online". They do some popular games like 9Dragons, 2moons, Bots, Dance and are working on this top secret project that I thought a few of you may want to check out.
This is the direction the game market is headed. Its a great idea if you have talent and plan to make games to get in on projects like this if for nothing else but the good contacts you'll make.
