New here... Upgrading question.

I'm trying out the TGEA demo and i was wondering, if I buy the indie version of TGEA and new versions are released , what will it cost for me to upgrade to newer versions? Will it be the difference of the old price and the new price? (example TGEA 1: $295 TGEA 2: $345 Upgrade: $ 50) That was my impression, but I just wanted to make sure.
