Here is the download link for Elements Of Battle Demo.
I know theres a lot in there that needs improvement, but I really never intended for it to be played by other people. Thats right, I woke up one morning and decide I wanted to play a sword fighting game the had lots of cool scenery and special abilitys. Well, there is but one special ability (hit the ";" key), and the scenery may not be the best, but I like it, and thats all that really madders.
Basically you just run around looking for people to slash or disintegrate. All the models in the game (except for the trees), I made a long time ago, I made them for little animations, I gave them a shine I threw them right in my game, and all the people look the same because all the people are the same.
The games difficulty rating would be equal to easy, and the sword fighting takes a lot of getting use to, but try to have fun anyway.
O yeah, stay out of the water, you can swim but you can't hide. :)
[EDIT]
Forgot to list controls.
Arrow keys to move.
Mouse to look around.
Left-click and mouse to attack in direction.
Right-click and mouse to block in direction.
esc key to bring up small menu and pause.
" / " key to jump.
" ; " key to use special ability.

"The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable.
Please try again later."
Right click, save as gets the download but:
"The compressed (zip) folder is invalid or corrupted"
Clicking second link brings me to the upload page, while right-clicking gives me the above zip error again..

I guess it worked for me before cause I uploaded the file, anyways it should work now.
[UPDATE]
Please download and unzip this file, then copy and paste it into your "\Program Files\Elements Of Battle v1.6 Demo\EOBDemo\data\shapes\customobj" folder.
This is just a bridge that was suppose to go over some water. I accidentally deleted it when I was preparing the game for downloading, it doesn't effect the game at all, it just makes it a bit easier for you to get around. I hate making you piece the game to getter, but it would take me an hour and a half to upload the game again.
Sorry for the trouble.

I also posted a demo this morning, if you get a chance check it out. It's pretty rough right now and any feedback I can get would be helpful.
Its in the general discussion forum, under Piscenian Revolution.

Nice work Caleb, love the music. So are you going to add more levels and elements or was it just for your own amusement?I also posted a demo this morning, if you get a chance check it out. It's pretty rough right now and any feedback I can get would be helpful.

Yeah, music is quite nice -- would fit into a Highlander themed game or perhaps Daggerfall-type RPGs where you might need an "inn song". The special attack was pretty decent as well.

Oh, and if you dont have the OpenAL driver installed, clicking options in the game (for me) causes it to crash unceremoniously -- just a little note to anyone trying out the demo.

Phoenix, thats weird, if the OpenAL drivers aren't installed, no sound should play at all.
I found another problem! I think I uploaded the wrong version, I had fixed a few things in the version I have. As a test, I got the one that I uploaded and...... the kills counter doesn't work. In the top right corner of the screen is a kills counter that is suppose to go up when you kill somebody. If anybody wants, I could post the files needed to fix this, but I'd rather wait until my next release. :)
As far as what I'm plan on doing next, I intend on totally updating all models in the game, (and use a different one for enemys). I also plan on adding more weapons and special abilitys. After adding the abilitys, I'll need an in-game menu so people can bind attacks to different keys.
And thats it, thanks for playing.

Jason, I made one single massive world that I wanted the game to take place in, but I'm not sure I'll get around to it.Phoenix, thats weird, if the OpenAL drivers aren't installed, no sound should play at all.

Everything is fine and dandy with it installed.

What I meant to say is: when I first installed the demo I didnt select the OpenAL option because I was a bit wary of doing so. (I dont have Torque installed "yet" or anything like that so I didnt want to install something I didnt really "need".) Of course, as you said, no sound played. But if you click Options without it installed, the demo crashes, which is probably expected behavior when it's trying to access something that isnt there...Everything is fine and dandy with it installed.
